Allen Meadows - Score: 91-94 (2016 April)

A brooding, introverted and cool nose of ripe and fresh dark berry fruit liqueur, wet stone, earth and sauvage nuances is trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is outstanding delineation to the ultra-intense and powerful large-scaled flavors that are overtly mineral-inflected while delivering excellent length on the sleekly muscular finale. This is a big but refined example of Latricières that should reward extended cellaring.
